Shift Dress..

Shift Dress RStheCon Arrow Print Shift Dress Where to buy a shift dress How to buy a shift dress RS the Con Bright Yellow Dress What to wear to a spring Chevron Dress: J.Crew (loving this one 30% off), Shoes: J.Crew, Sunglasses: Valentino, Clutch: J.Crew (similar), Rings: Kendra Scott and Kendra Scott, Bracelet: Stella & Dot

Hope you all had a great weekend! I was so excited to get home yesterday to spend the day with my husband and daughter. The dress that I am wearing above is from last season. I really like the bright color and the arrow print pattern.   I love that shift dresses are such a forgiving shape. I wore this dress a lot last summer and now I am able to wear it pregnant. I am so tempted to buy this one since I’ve been eyeing it for awhile and now it’s on sale!

When buying a shift dress, the length is the most important thing to focus on. Since it is a wider shape, you don’t want to get it too long so that you look frumpy. This shift dress I am wearing above is shorter than most of my other dresses but is still a respectable length. I have another shift dress that I love that isn’t quite as short as this one so depending on the fit you’ll find that different lengths work for different styles.

A cotton shift dress is great to wear for more casual events. If you have a graduation party, shower or brunch to go to this Spring or Summer they’re perfect for those types of event. I went to a pool party over the weekend at the Reward Style Conference and was able to wear this dress for it. I put together a list of some of my favorite brand’s shift dresses that you can find here.
