This is our last round of family photos for a while.  Isn't Dahlia the cutest? I absolutely love these photos. Dahlia's First Birthday Party...

Dahlia's first birthday party went really well.  I had so much fun having family and friends over to our house.  My Uncle even flew in from Australia for the event. The theme of her party was 'You are My Sunshine.'  Her nursery has a wooden picture with the lyrics on it, so it seemed very fitting.  I had the cakes made at Whole Foods and they turned out even better than I imaged they would.  Dahlia didn't dig into the smash cake as much as I would have thought, but she seemed to enjoy it anyway.  I can't believe she is already a year old.  In honor of her party, I listed some of my favorite kids clothes below!

A lot of my friends and I have all had babies in the last few months.  We're always texting each other "have you seen this" or recommending products we have found to each other.  The items listed above are some of my favorite things.  I love pretty much anything that Aden + Anais make, the blankets and the burp clothes are a great weight.  The Ergo is great for traveling and walking around with Dahlia.  She pretty much falls right to sleep any time I put her in it. The Boppy and the Brica are great accessories for her car seat.  I love the Boppy because it keeps her head up when we drive and the Brica keeps bugs and sun off of her when we're outside.

My Amazon Prime Membership has been great because it's hard to get out of the house now and if I need something I can have it to my house in two days.  I am currently addicted to Zulily with their deal of the day type shopping. They always seem to have great range of deals on baby products.   I hear really good things about the Honest  products but haven't tried any of their baby items. Their sunscreen and hand sanitizer really work well. Nordstrom just starting carrying their stuff this week but it is selling out quickly.

I am so lucky to have had a daughter on June 6th.  Dahlia Jo has brought so much joy to my life.  I have been loving the time that her and I have had together over the last two months.  I can't believe that she is already two months old.  The time just flew by.  One of the things I was so looking forward to as a mom was matching my sweet little girl.  Kind of lame I know, but someone has to do it!  When I saw these Sperry's on the semi-annual Nordstrom sale I could not resist.  I  bought them bigger for her so I have a while before she can wear them but we will match proudly when they do fit her.
