Beauty Products...









Last night I got invited to a new salon that is opening in my area. I really love the gal that did my hair. It inspired me to do a beauty post today in honor of my visit. Graduation season is right around the corner.  My list above includes some great gift ideas for a graduate or items to wear on your own graduation day.  When I graduated from college, I focused on buying a cute dress. However, in your photos all you will see are your shoes, cap and gown. Make sure to accessorize with some cute jewelry and a clutch. If you're not a college graduate... you still NEED those black shoes.  How cute are they! I hope you all have a great weekend.  It will be nice and low-key for us here in Minneapolis.

Style Tissue...













Having a little one has changed my outlook on having Kleenex available at all times.  My little one's nose seems to run like a faucet. I went to Target this weekend and got these great little tissue packs. They're so nice for putting in your purse, diaper bag, or pocket.

I love this Camo tee.  I rock it with a bright color bag or scarf.  This outfit needs a little pop of color to make it flashy.  I love to be able to wear my hair in a pony tail so my daughter can't pull it out of my head.  She is a very grabby little girl.  Hopefully you've gotten most of your holiday shopping done.  I am almost finished.  Don't forget to check out my gift guide if you're stumped on anyone!

Stella & Dot Party...

Last week while I was visiting my parents down in Florida I had the pleasure of attending my first Stella & Dot party.  It was so much fun.  I loved being able to try on the jewelry in person.  We had some amazing food and drinks as well.  The two gals that hosted the event were Angie and Amanda.  They both had such cute style that I trusted any advice they gave me. Amanda highly recommended number 5, as she said she could pretty much wear it everyday. Angie recommended the Trinity Pendant in gold it comes with two chains. A long and a short one so that it can be worn long, short or layered. The stones can be removed as well so it is very versatile.  I was tempted to buy one of everything but I settled on number 2 and 4 listed above.  Items 4-7 come in gold or silver, so if you're not into mixing metals you have options. 

When I looked at Stella & Dot's website, I could not believe how many stars rock their jewelry. The nice thing about their line is they have great pieces at a reasonable price! These items are sure to make great Christmas gifts!

Here is the White Sangria Recipe that Angie made that night.

2 lemons - sliced
1 apple, cubed (fuji, mac, Braeburn…)
1 1/2 cups strawberries, sliced
1/2 cup white rum
1 bottle Sauvingnon Blanc
2 liter Diet 7up

In a large pitcher, layer lemons, apple, then strawberries.  
Pour rum & wine over top, stir just a little, then refrigerate for at least 6 hours (the more the better) Add 7up before serving

I got my first pair of Hunter boots a couple of weeks ago.  I debated forever on what color to get and if I should invest in a pair.  I am so glad that I did!  I wear them so much more than I thought I would.  I already want another color.... Don't tell my husband! They would make a great Christmas gift if you're looking for one. Don't forget to check out my gift guide for more ideas. Baby Baby Baby...

A couple of days ago, I posted my favorite baby things and forgot a few items so here they are.  I use this Marc tote to carry all her stuff. I haven't seemed to mastered the art of efficiently packing a bag.  Every time we go any where I seem to have that tote packed to the brim.  I am hoping it is something I will master sooner rather than later.  I have the black but I think the grey is so attractive.

The Woombie is the best because my daughter is a little bit of a Houdini and seems to get out of everything. For daytime naps we put her in a Woombie and then at night I put her in a Halo. The one thing I really love about the Woombie is that their feet can be out, so if we put her in it she can still be in a swing or a bouncy chair.

A lot of my friends and I have all had babies in the last few months.  We're always texting each other "have you seen this" or recommending products we have found to each other.  The items listed above are some of my favorite things.  I love pretty much anything that Aden + Anais make, the blankets and the burp clothes are a great weight.  The Ergo is great for traveling and walking around with Dahlia.  She pretty much falls right to sleep any time I put her in it. The Boppy and the Brica are great accessories for her car seat.  I love the Boppy because it keeps her head up when we drive and the Brica keeps bugs and sun off of her when we're outside.

My Amazon Prime Membership has been great because it's hard to get out of the house now and if I need something I can have it to my house in two days.  I am currently addicted to Zulily with their deal of the day type shopping. They always seem to have great range of deals on baby products.   I hear really good things about the Honest  products but haven't tried any of their baby items. Their sunscreen and hand sanitizer really work well. Nordstrom just starting carrying their stuff this week but it is selling out quickly.
