Statement necklaces are a fun way to take a basic shirt and make it into a great outfit.  When I pack for a trip, I always like to bring a few necklaces with me to add some flare to outfits. That way, I can bring a basic black dress like this and wear it for the day.  Then at night, I would pair it with a necklace like this.

Graduation season is right around the corner.  My list above includes some great gift ideas for a graduate or items to wear on your own graduation day.  When I graduated from college, I focused on buying a cute dress. However, in your photos all you will see are your shoes, cap and gown. Make sure to accessorize with some cute jewelry and a clutch. If you're not a college graduate... you still NEED those black shoes.  How cute are they! I hope you all have a great weekend.  It will be nice and low-key for us here in Minneapolis.

Valentine's List

Valentine's Day is one of my favorite days of the year.  Growing up, it was always a day for my family to celebrate each other.  I remember when my brother went to college he would send my sisters and me flowers at school. Now as a married woman, I put an unfair amount of pressure on my husband to make Valentine's day special. I have a Valentine's day uniform that includes a lot of pink!

For your Valentine's day date I have included the look above.  The little black dress is perfect for your hot date! I would add some pops of pink or red.  The nail polish is an amazing red, which we all know is hard to find.  Then add some cute pink earrings and a bold lip.  The glittery shoes are perfect for a dare I say sexy look.

Jewelry is the best way to dress up any look. It's so easy to do but can be frequently overlooked.  Number one I just ordered a week ago in the medium size in gold. I got LT instead of LJT. I also am on the waiting list for number four as well. Number six may look like something you've seen before but the price is much lower than others I've seen. Hopefully, today's post will inspire you to put on a cute accessory before you run out the door.

As of last night I was at 450 Facebook likes!  I'm to happy to have reached such a huge milestone.  Thanks so much for reading my blog.  It's been so fun writing and connecting with you all. Number 3 listed above looks so amazing on, a good friend of mine has it.  I would totally rock 3, 1, 2, 6 and 8 together for a perfect causal day look.

I love this Camo tee.  I rock it with a bright color bag or scarf.  This outfit needs a little pop of color to make it flashy.  I love to be able to wear my hair in a pony tail so my daughter can't pull it out of my head.  She is a very grabby little girl.  Hopefully you've gotten most of your holiday shopping done.  I am almost finished.  Don't forget to check out my gift guide if you're stumped on anyone!

The nice thing about rings is you can get so much use out of them. It's not like a shirt where you can wear it one day and then not the next. Rings are very versatile, and can be worn with both casual and formal attire.  Rings have always been a big part of my style.  When I was young I used to wear a ring on every finger.  I have toned it down since then but here are some of my favorite rings.
