Beauty Products...

Blush: Nars, Powder: Mac, Lotion: Neutrogena, Skincare Brush: Clarisonic, Primer: Smashbox, Foundation: Make Up For Ever, Lipgloss: Nars, Mascara: Giorgio Armani, Eye Shadow: Mac

I went to brunch with my friends on Saturday, and we got to talking about beauty products.  Everyone seems to have their go to products and secrets.  I have tested all of the products pictured above with the exception of the mascara.  I feel confident in the mascara, as a good friend of mine loves it, and it doesn't have very many negative reviews on Nordstrom.   One of the negative reviews suggests that it is too "dramatic," which, let's be honest, makes it a positive review.  I have heard great things about the Birchbox. It's a great way to test products and find what you really love.  Hopefully today isn't a waste of make up ;)

Last night I got to go out to eat with a very dear friend of mine. She spent her Christmas in the hospital as her husband had Influenza and Pneumonia. She is such an amazing person and had such a positive outlook on the situation. He was discharged just in time to celebrate Christmas at home.  I had so much fun at dinner with her, she has such a great sense of humor even with all she's been through in the last two weeks she was still her normal self. 

The coat I picked out above was something we joked about at dinner.  She went to North Face and asked for the warmest coat they had.  I can see why she needed it as we live in Minneapolis and it's -9 as I write this.  I also love these Sorels for the freezing cold weather we're in for.
